HOW MUCH IS TRAVEL INSURANCE ?

A quote will be sent via email with the price. We will provide you with the PDS and give you the time to read it and make a decision as to what cover is best for you. We will provide a phone number to contact the insurance direct with any additional questions. Quotes are free and no obligation to book.

CAN I CANCEL OR MAKE A CLAIM ON MY POLICY?

Please check the cooling off period. This can vary between 14-30 days after purchase. There are multiple situations in which travel insurance will pay out on a policy for a trip you can no longer go on. Please refer to the PDS or call the Insurance provider.

Some scenarios that are not covered:

Changing of mind

Travel documents (like visas and passports) don’t arrive in time for the trip and therefore prevent you from going on the trip

If the Australian Government has issued a warning against travelling to a certain region (www.smartraveller.gov.au) and you choose to go there anyway, you will not be able to make a travel insurance claim.

Not keeping your belongings safe or reporting items to police. You need to make sure you keep belongings with you at all times and when you can’t, make sure they are somewhere safe – for example, in a safe in the hotel room.

Keeping existing medical conditions to yourself - Diabetes, an injury, asthma, high blood pressure, a heart condition – these are just some of the things that are considered to be pre-existing medical conditions. While not all insurers will neglect to insure on the basis of a pre-existing medical condition, nearly all insurers will neglect to pay out on a claim relating to a pre-existing medical condition of which you failed to notify
